Picture #5: Coloring. I don't know why, but coloring is always my least favorite part. I think it's because most coloring solutions are non-erasable, so if I screw up, it stays. Well, here I've colored in some of the largest sections lightly, as I can always darken it later, but I can't lighten it for highlights. I also marked off areas not to be colored, like the highlights in the silver hair and on the rim of the mug. I'm using Crayola pencils. RoseArt had a wider selection of colors (75 instead of 50), but the leads on their pencils have a tendency to break inside the pencil, making sharpening the pencil an iffy thing at best. *aheh* So far, no screw ups... Time to finish coloring! *crosses fingers*
