The Spike Fund

Many of you may know Spike2k5forever (aka Spike). He's a furry artist, a total sweetheart to anyone who has ever met him, and a really great friend. Everyone who has ever met him loves him to death, because he is such a kind, sweet, selfless and caring person.

Spike lives in South Africa. (Yes, this is starting to sound like one of those spam letters. It's not. Ohmygawd his accent is SO awesome. *swoon*) But the situation down there is getting bad for him, and he wants to move out to a country with better job prospects and better living conditions. He is doing what he can to move to Vancouver, BC to get a job in design and/or architecture, make a better life for himself, and be closer to his friends.

Several friends of Spike, including myself, have started a fund to help Spike move up to Vancouver, BC to be with his friends and start a new life up here. But we need help. A lot of Spike's closer friends (like myself) are too broke to contribute the amount of money it takes to get him into the country.

Anything you can do to donate will help.

DONATE PLEASE - even if it's only $5, $10, $15, it will help. I will be trying to keep the thermometer below up to date. If you see it hasn't moved in a while, toss in a couple of bucks just to keep it moving. It doesn't matter how much or how little, as long as we keep the thermometer going up.

Help a very sweet and worthy furry friend get to Canada so he can make a better life for himself.
